Why
Building alone isn't the handicap people think it is. There's no meeting between me and the thing being shipped. I talk to users in the morning, change the product by lunch, and know by tonight whether it worked. That loop is the whole advantage, and it only exists because nobody has to agree with me first.
I learned this the expensive way, running a store where the wages alone were ten grand a week. The ventures that worked weren't better ideas. They were better models: almost nothing between the revenue and me, and the discipline to stay through the stretch where it gets boring and the numbers stay flat.
The map gets given away because gatekeeping is a tax on people like me five years ago. I'd rather build an audience that wins alongside me than a funnel that squeezes them. If you ship something real off the back of what I publish, that's the point.
